GOVERNOR SERIAKE DICKSON ON LEAVE ABROAD:

√ We (Obuebite and Governor) spoke yesterday and he promised to work closely with the organised labour on the need to implement the agreement reached by both parties in respect of the payments of workers salaries/wages/arrears

√ Workers priority and welfare is still topmost in this administration.

√ Caution some dubious fellows in the state to desist from spreading fake rumours and blackmail.

√ Pray for mutual understanding to move the state forward.

√ On the need to raise the revenue base of the state,diversity the economy away from the troubling mono-oil economy.

√ Aggressive Agricultural Revolution Scheme ( AARS) in the state.

√ Bayelsa to take its rightful position as the hub of tourism and hospitality business in Nigeria .

√ To sustain the existing peace and security in the state.

√  Assiduously working to complete the International Cargo Airport (over 65% completed) at Amassoma

√ A stable and increased revenue will enable the state to kick start  the construction of the Aggeh Deep Seaport

√ The need to complete the 3 Senatorial Roads Project.

√ Another landmark agenda of this administration is to commence the construction of the 2nd flyover at Tombia/Edepie Roundabout

√  Complete all ongoing projects scattered across the state.

√ etc.
