Now is the time for young men to possess the party back and win elections in Bayelsa, am talking about progressive young men who desire real change.
What you view below was never possible when Timipre Sylva held the party in his hands, he made sure no one had access to the National secretariat, but as the saying goes, freedom cometh by struggle, and today that dream has been actualized.
Our agitations is about internal democracy. It is about inclusiveness. It is about respect for constituted authority. It is about resistance to tyranny. It is about asking a demi god to show some respect and appreciation to the real members of the party. It is about due process. It is about carrying everyone along. It is about freedom.
This struggle is not about Tiwei Orunimighe or Preye Aganaba, it is about giving young men an opportunity to express themselves democratically rather than lining up before a demi god, daily genuflecting repeatedly to have a meal.
The 26 of April 2016,was a day like any other when the bayelsa APC Chieftains, party executives, lga chairmen, led by the state Chairman, Chief Timipa Tiwei, paid a courtesy visit to the national secretariat.They were warmly received by the national chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun.
