IYC PRESIDENT SYMPATHIZES WITH MILITARY OVER LOSS, BEGS FOR CALM.

The President of the Ijaw youths council worldwide, Engr. Udengs Eradiri has condemned the kiling of some soldiers along the Nembe Creek by some armed militia dressed as persons attending a burial.

The sad even which occurred on Monday August 8th 2016 at the aforementioned location in Bayelsa, it was reported that the armed militia opened fire on the military checkpoint along the Nembe Creek, killing about four soldiers and carting away their Guns and a military Gunboat.

Speaking on a telephone conversation, Engr. Udengs expresses sympathy with the family of the deceased and the Nigerian army, he felt so sober and bereaved over the untimely loss.

He therefore call on leaders in the affected area to join hands with the military and fish out those involved in the act, he also promise to provide useful information to aid the apprehending of the culprits and to restore peace.

Meanwhile, he further urged people of the community to be in peace and not to be discomforted but to rather concentrate their energy in supporting the Military.
