YENAGOA: POLICE FOILS ROBBERY ATTEMPT

Alhaji Ebidiseghebofa reports, that luck seems to have run out of some highway armed robbers.

This golf vehicle is parked in front of Diamond Bank PLC along the Sani Abacha Expressway, Yenagoa. Inside the car were four men. A keke operator who dropped off a passenger beside the car suspected the men and called a SARS patrolling van.

On sighting the police, three of the suspect fled into the swamp while the unlucky one was shot on the right leg and was brought to the vehicle before my eyes.
The detective search the vehicle and two guns with live ammunition were found.

The victim and the vehicle has been taken to the SARS office at Road Safety Road, Yenagoa.
