"I AM ALIVE, I CAN'T DIE NOW" - IBB
Contrary to rumours about the death of former Nigerian Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, popularly called IBB, he is not dead.
The rumour about his death has gone viral in Minna, Niger State, and on social media.
IBB broke the silence from Germany, where he is receiving treatment.
Speaking to Television Continental (TVC) on a live programme, Wednesday evening, IBB debunked the rumour.
He spoke with the anchor person on the programme, ‘Journalist Hangout’.
IBB said he was hale and hearty and not dead as being speculated, adding that he would soon return to the country.
IBB has recently been struggling with sickness.
This has put an end to rumour of his death that spread across Nigeria and social media throughout Wednesday.
Babangida’s 75th birthday celebrations billed for this August is reportedly going on according to plan.
