AGITATORS IN NIGER DELTA SHOULD LEARN FROM SOUTH SUDAN'S MISTAKES - GEN AFRICA UKPARASIA

Yenagoa - The issue of uprising militancy facing the Niger Delta region is no longer a juicy story. It is visible to blinds and audible to the deaf.

"The self proclaimed Niger Delta Avengers and their sponsors that have been attacking and destroying oil installations in the region all in the name of gaining a Republic (Niger Delta) should on a serious note learn from the mistakes of South Sudan independency struggle".

"Ever since South Sudan gained independence as a country from Sudan it has never experienced peace because there is a heavy power tussle in the country. They never had goals and objectives".

"Some youths in the Niger Delta might ignorantly think that the so-called Avengers are fighting for the region - but it is all a lie and the evidences are their to speak for themselves".
What does Niger Delta have to do with Nnamdi  Kanu (Biafra) and Dasuki?

"Blowing up the pipelines is in turn bringing negative feedback to our people - the rivers and lands are destroyed, people can not go farm to get food, fishing is another problem, no safe water to drink".

"The economy of the country has been degraded to some extent via the pipelines vandalism by the avengers".

"Do we have what it takes to sustain ourselves as a country If we are to gain independence?. We practically get food from other regions such as North, East and the West".

"I, Gen Africanus Ukparasia is in strong terms against the activities of the avengers - we should Embrace Peace because violence can not amend violence"
