Mamaput is the popular name given to food hawkers. Read below:

1) Food is readily available at brake fast hours..........7-10am.

2) In no distance walk, mama put is sighted in every premises.

3) Unlike the modern restaurants, prizes are not fixed per plate and so, you eat according to how much you have with you.

4) The way food is been ordered. Eg.       Rice N50, beans N30, plantain (fried) N50, Meant (stew/banga) N50. Total=N180, and you are well fed.

If you are a more rich person like I do here, then you make the demand more advanced to your fellow.

"Rice N50, Spaghetti N50, Plantain N50, and meant N100. Total=N250. Then you take in a sachet of water for N10 to make it N260. Then, you are good to go anywhere, anytime.
