WE WILL NOT HARBOUR CRIMINALS - BRASS BOSS

The Chairman of Brass local government Area Hon. Bello Bina on 1st of May 2016, has said Brass Local government Area is not a hideout for crime and criminality.  He warned that anyone who is  found wanting will be fetched out by security agents to face the law.

He said some  thugs according to information in his disposal arrived twon-Brass from Nembe LGA to regroup themselves to fight back in respect to the earlier violence amongst youths in Opu-Nembe town. 

According to the Chairman. His regime will not be soft pedal with anyone who is aimed at disrupting the existing peace in the Local government area. He further promised the people of Brass LGA of adequate protection of their lives and properties, which is his primary responsibility.   

In his words "If you are at war with anyone and you're running for safety, Brass is not a place or hideout for Criminals. If we discover such people or group of persons, we will utilise all available means to ensure they are brought to Justice". He Noted that the law is a respecter of man".

The Chairman further insisted that those running from Nembe to Brass LGA in respect to what has happened in Nembe will not be tolerated, according to him, security agents have been placed on red alert to look out for any suspected  person or group of people who would wants to disrupt the peace in Brass LGA, he still maintained that such persons will be arrested and prosecuted.

According to him, "The people of Brass are peace loving people and this new administration of his, will give no room to crime and criminality in any form".
