UNPAID SALARIES:WORKERS SHUTS DOWN YENAGOA
YENAGOA: Workers from Ekeremor Local Government area on thursday 26 May 2016, barricaded the Mbiama - Yenagoa road over 9months unpaid salaries owed to them.
The workers who took their pains to the streets following hunger and starvation that has beheld the people.
It could be recalled that Government took decision to pay one month salary each to all LGA, following these pronouncement by the State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, the workers of Ekeremor still lamented that they are yet to receive their pay.
The workers accused the Care taker Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Tolu Amatu of diverting their salaries.
They demanded the removal of the Chairman or they will continue to express their displeasure through streets protests.
