RIP PRESIDENT MUSA YAR’ADUA - ANNKIO BRIGGS

“The late President Yar’Adua died in the midst of all of these questions that remain unanswered. I met briefly and interacted with a man l got to respect and grew to slowly believe that perhaps it was possible to get some of the Niger Delta issues resolved, but l also saw around him just as any President will always have greedy, selfish and power mongers who will do and say anything to hold onto power, as long as that power gave 100% access to the economic and political powers to the mafia of any FG. (MOAFG)
I began to see the eventual failure of the negotiated Amnesty after we had accepted it, especially when Late Yar’Adua became critically ill, the ferocity and desperation, with which all, l mean all around him (Yar’Adua) behaved.

He was a gentleman, a president, father, husband, friend, and a meal ticket and leader to them. He was in pain, discomfort, and not one man or woman, blood related or not cared enough for him as a person, all they cared about was him as a president, forging his signature, lying to the world not to mention Nigerians, pretending he was watching football, stage managing a fake voice, that he was climbing up and down stairs, these greedy people without shame did not allow this gentle man to die with dignity and peacefully.”
