LATEST ABOUT THE BAYELSA SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM

We wish to acknowledge that scores of people worked for the Social Media Team and government wishes to show her gratitude to all those who made us proud.

So many names, about 35 were compiled but given the economic crisis we are facing, the decision has been to build the the Team in two batches. Those to be inaugurated tomorrow constitutes the first batch and as soon as the economy improves the second batch will be brought in. As the Social Media Director of His Excellency, the Governor, our overarching goal is to leave no one behind. It is against this background that those whose names do not appear on the first list should know that they have not been forgotten. In 2012, the same strategy was used to form Africa's most formidable Social Media Team driven by these fantastic young men and women, whose social media activities I have always described as sui generis.

All should rest assured that delay is not denial. Do not feel bad because you might just make the second list. I wish you a very pleasant Sunday and pray for a stable Nigeria with an improved economy.
