DSS INVITES JOSHUA MACIVER TO ABUJA FOR QUESTIONING.

The Department of State Services, DSS, Abuja has invited the Care-taker Chairman,  Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Hon Joshua Maciver for questioning.

This invitation is in connection with his earlier dissolution and subsequent reconstitution of the Task Force on Oil and Gas in the Local Government Area. 
In a statement in yenagoa, the Chairman said his action was in conformity with the provisions establishing the Task Force on Oil and Gas which is a public private partnership, PPP, with the Southern Ijaw Local Area.

The statement noted that the invitation by the DSS is masterminded by the former managers of the Task Force on Oil and Gas to frustrate his determined bid to protect our environment from wanton destruction.
