BUDGET: BYS APC CHAIR TO MEET WITH V. P TODAY.

YENAGOA: In line with the Budget signing, the Bayelsa state Apc Chair, Chief Timipa Tiwei Orunimighe is set to meet with the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at the villa today.

The meeting which is to be held in close doors is said to be aimed at securing federal projects, Job opportunities and development for Bayelsans and the state.

Earlier on, during the last visit of the state chair, the vice president had earlier stated that the Buhari led administration is intent ensuring Bayelsans and Bayelsa state is developed to compete with other popular cities in the world.

Prof. Osinbajo who made it clear, that the federal government will move all it's attention to the state after the signing of the budget.

It is to these regards that a meeting has now been scheduled today, the state chair who disclosed these developments while addressing ward chairmen of the state during an emergency meeting between Chieftains and state excos, held on 7th May 2016.

The state chair further encouraged Bayelsans not to be weary of the current hardship, he assured them of a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
He further advised, that Bayelsans should key into the change agenda as the development of Bayelsa state is the responsibility and collective efforts of all.
