-BIAFRANS BENT ON KILLING THE DREAMS AND MEMORY OF ISAAC ADAKA BORO.

A famous Niger Deltan youth activists has condemned the activities of Biafra on the Ijaw soil and has exposed their intent to proclaim Biafra over Niger Delta by using propagandas and smear campaigns.

Sanco Ese Darlington wrote:

Niger Delta armed insurrection did not begin with MEND, Okah or Asari-
Dokubo. Decades before them an Ijaw nationalist named Isaac Boro led an armed campaign for greater Niger Delta autonomy, resource control and self determination for the inhabitants of the Niger Delta.

But unfortunately he was arrestedand sentenced to death by an IBO man who is a biafran. General Aguiyi Ironsi and later freed by Lt Col Yakubu Gowon an hausa man.

Isaac Adaka Boro fought against the Biafrans during the civil war because he was convinced that it is better to be with the Nigerian state than for his people from Niger Delta to be part of Biafra. indeed those were men that saw tommorow and left a legacy for us to follow just as ojukwu left the Biafran legacy for the IBOS.

Today  the Biafrans while pursuing the legacy of their hero are bent on killing the dream of our hero in the struggle, in person of late Maj Isaac Adaka Boro.

It is also unfortunate that most misguided youths from the Niger Delta are being brainwashed to believe we and the igbos are one.

The hatred the Ibos have for us is phenomenal and can be seen in the way they address us and our struggle in the print and social media.

They brazenly insult us and call us fools and lazy people, they tell us all the purported south south states belong to Biafra.

It is sad to note that even the Nigerian state believe in the geographical expression called Niger Delta which the Biafrans are  trying so much to convince us never existed.

They believe we are a conquered people living under their territory.

Just few days ago some misguided youths destroyed our pipelines and demanded for the release of KANU and a day later they came out to instigate the federal government against the Niger Delta avengers,  what a betrayal.

As a Niger Deltan and a true believer in the philosophy of our great hero Isaac Boro it is my conviction that the day we embrace Biafra we have sold our identity and erase the memory of a man who believed so much and sacrificed his life for us as a people.

We are no Biafrans and we all must protect our collective and distinct peculiarities as the people of Niger Delta. I am also radically convince that Biafras by their nature will treat us as a conquered people and those already being brainwashed should retrace their step in order not to rubbish the belief and legacies of our struggle.

They are out to wipe the memory of our hero late Maj Isaac Adaka Boro, immediately we accept Biafra the name of our hero is lost forever because there will be no name like Niger delta again.

We will never allow that. Rest in peace as we remember May16th. your death day. Maj Isaac Adaka Boro. The lion of the people of Niger Delta.
