NDU POSTPONES MATRIC&EXAMS, TELLS STUDENTS TO VACATE HOSTELS.


In a recent press statement signed by the school's ag. registrar, Mrs Effua E. Berepubo,  which reads as follows:


Following the declaration of the strike by the Academic staff union of universities (ASUU) NDU chapter, the university administration at it's 467th meeting held on Friday 29th 2016, suspended all academic activities for 2015/2016 Academic session, starting from today.

Consequently, the ongoing first semester Examinations and the matriculation ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday 30th April 2016, has been postponed indefinitely.

Sequel to the strike, students are advised to vacate the hostels with effect from today, Friday 29th April 2016 - Saturday 30th April 2016.

Resumption of lectures will be announce once the strike is called off.

Note: Pre degree and Basic programs are not affected by the strike.

Above was the statement of the Institution, it could be recalled that three days back, the Asuu, ndu chapter embarked on an indefinite strike following non-payment of salaries and neglection of the Bayelsa state government on some basic infrastructures that will boost quality education in the institution.
